Wayne keyes
Wayne Keyes has been involved in the "Harness Racing Industry" for most of his life as an "owner/breeder/trainer/driver". In his youth he grew up in Townsville and made a name for himself as a junior driver.
From an early age, Wayne's "passion" for horses led him on a journey which has gained him extensive knowledge
and experience in the detection of "musculoskeletal" problems and handling of horses. |

Wayne developed an interest in the use of laser therapy approx 8 years ago when he, himself, was being treated for a lower back injury. He was amazed at the good results of his own treatment and decided that his own race horses may benefit from laser therapy when they had muscle soreness or injury from racing. He treated acupuncture points for the horse with Low Intensity Laser with great success. Due to the excellent results with his own horses, Wayne found there was a demand/need in the equine industry for this type of treatment for horses with musculoskeletal injury. Wayne became "accredited" to use Low Intensity Laser and started "Beaudesert Equine Laser Therapy". |
Wayne is a very experienced horseman, with an affinity for all animals, but particularly horses and dogs. He is well known in the 'Harness Racing" Fraternity. - Doesn't gamble or drink beer but likes a laugh
- Weird hobbies which include spiritual seeking, and Certificates in Massage and a Reiki Healing .
How Wayne and Natalie got together - according to Natalie.
It started a few years ago. The more time I spent with Wayne, the more I realised he was a bit of "enigma".
here was a lot more to him that met the eye. Not just a 'simple minded country bloke."
I suffer from a chronic arthritic condition which was very painful and debilitating.
Wayne casually advised " Oh, I can fix that !"
"Probably take a few treatments with laser accupuncture , cause you've had it for so long".
After years of specialist doctors, I was suspect that this "cow cockey" could do anything to help, however I gave him a go.
Within a few treatments there was a huge improvement.
I couldn't believe it, how could I ever thank him.......... so I married him and moved to the country.
I still have the arthritis but with a treatment of laser every couple of months it keeps me free of drugs and minimal pain.
We saw the potential for Laser Therapy Treatment and started the "Beaudesert Equine Laser Therapy".
I can honestly say, Laser Therapy has a place in the treatment of many musculo/skeletal problems and assists in the recovery process.
